Ugh. This has actually been one of those weeks, you know the kind, where everything seems to drag when you want it to go fast, and things go fast when you need them to drag.

Take Wednesday for example, one of the best examples of a crappy day right from the start.

We start out with me waking up at 4:20 in the morning, and then not being able to get back to sleep. I went downstairs hoping to read, but I forgot my book on my bedside table, and didn’t want to wake my wife up.

I tried to get back to sleep until 5:30 when I decided to give up and watch some Buffy. Was afraid I’d wake my wife, so I kept it quiet. When she woke up I went to my computer, which is now making some weird noise.

Wrote two articles, and then left them at home (so I wasn’t able to edit and finish them up).

Went to the gym and forgot my clothes at home.

Went to the bank and found my ING bank card won’t work in the TD machines.

The Gap didn’t have my size in two of the types of pants I wanted to try on. Sales bimbo suggested I try on a 36…which wouldn’t fit over my enlarged quadraceps (the good news is that the waist was okay on the one pair, they just looked ridiculous due to my legs), settled on a pair of Chinos (which actually look and feel really great).

Got in to work at almost the time I normally do, even though was up since 4:20.

Went to Starbucks at lunch and burned the crap out of my mouth.

At about 2:00 in the afternoon I lost twenty minutes of work by hitting “CTRL S” in Photoshop, which caused it to crash for some unexplained reason (not a normal crash, just a simple closure of the Photoshop window with no accompanying warning sign).

Thank god the week is over. Char and I are going to California tomorrow, we leave at 6:00 in the evening out of Buffalo. This time tomorrow night, I’ll be in a bed in Sunny California.

We both really need this vacation!
